Board Chair (2-year term)

  • Defines and communicates the vision and mission of the PMC
  • Public face of the organization, should attend most events
  • Builds strategic and tactical relationships with other organizations
  • Fundraises and establishes sponsorship from other organizations
  • Coordinates the work of the Board and its committees
  • Approval of purchases and expenses greater than $1000 (with Vice-Chair)

Board Vice-Chair

  • Backs up all responsibilities of the Board Chair
  • Oversee execution of Board teams and ensure collaborative work environment

Board Secretary / Coordinator

  • Creates and distributes minutes from official Board meetings.
  • Ensures timely filing of all legal documents with the State and Federal governments
  • Coordinates and organizes Board events

Board Treasurer

  • Manages the financial interests of the PMC Board
  • Provides monthly updates on PMC finances
  • Coordinates with outside accountant and tax advisors
  • Ensures timely filing of relevant tax documents
  • Prepare financial statement for annual Board meeting

Marketing Chair

  • Defines overarching marketing and brand strategy for the PMC across all efforts
  • Provides monthly updates to Board on Marketing progress and plans
  • Creates a 12-month calendar of marketing efforts to track and manage delivery
  • Responsible for traditional, web-based, and social marketing strategy and execution
  • Should work with a team of volunteers pulled from the membership
  • Coordinates with PCS, Skill Events & Socials, and Industry Events to facilitate their needs

ProductCamp Co-Chairs

  • End-to-end coordination, planning, and execution of PCS and related events
  • Provides monthly updates to Board on PCS progress and plans
  • Should work with a team of volunteers pulled from the membership
  • Work with Treasurer to ensure accurate tracking & reporting of PCS-related expenses
  • Work with Marketing team to promote and market PCS-related events

Skill Events & Socials Chair

  • Coordination, planning, and execution of Workshops, Socials, & Networking events
  • Provides monthly updates to Board on Skill Events & Socials progress and plans
  • Creates a 12-month calendar of events to track and manage delivery of skill & social events
  • Should work with a team of volunteers pulled from the membership
  • Work with Treasurer to ensure accurate tracking & reporting of event expenses
  • Work with Marketing team to promote and market skill and social events

Industry Events Chair

  • Coordination, planning, and execution of Industry Events
  • Provides monthly updates to Board on Industry Event progress and plans
  • Creates a 12-month calendar of events to track and manage delivery of Industry Events
  • Should work with a team of volunteers pulled from the membership
  • Work with Treasurer to ensure accurate tracking & reporting of event expenses
  • Work with Marketing team to promote and market Industry Events

Membership Chair

  • Coordination, planning, and execution of Membership acquisition, retention, and referral programs
  • Provides monthly updates to Board on Membership progress and plans
  • Monitors OKRs related to PMC Membership
  • Facilitates communication between members and the Board
  • Should work with a team of volunteers pulled from the membership
